1. Preparation:

– How did you prepare for the mpsc typing skill test?
– Did you use any specific resources for practice?
– What was your daily practice routine like?
I prepared for skill test at Mahesh typing institute for three months. I had appeared for both MARATHI and ENGLISH typing and it was my first attempt.
Initially, I focused on Lessons of Marathi and English. I used to practice for 1 hour in morning and 1 hour in evening one language at a time. This helped me to get clear idea of keys and avoid confusion.
Once I had done with lessons, I started with passages and it helped me to improve the speed and accuracy. The speed gradually increases as you practice more and more.

2. Techniques and Strategies:

– What typing techniques or methods did you find most effective?
– How did you manage to maintain accuracy while typing at a high speed?
– Any specific strategies you employed during the examination?
The best technique to get speed and accuracy is to avoid the backspace while you practice. Initially lots of mistakes happen but as you practice you get adept to the keyboard layout and it helps to speed with accuracy.
Second, I will recommend you to do meditation for 5-10 mins before you go for practice because it helps you to focus on passage which increases your accuracy. This has really helped me to focus.

3. Challenges Faced:
– Were there any challenges you faced during your preparation or the examination itself?
– How did you overcome these challenges?
The problem I faced mostly was that I could not focus on studies while doing practice. I know many of us face this issue. So, I was not able to focus and that reduces the accuracy and speed. For that I used to do meditation before practice.
Second, I will recommend not to practice continuously for longer hours as your fingers gets exhausted and reduced speed demotivates us.

Consider Skill test as an essential part of procedure and do it honestly. Confidence and focus are key to crack the skill test. Be patient and calm at the time of practice as well as Skill test.
